the cat she walks alone, at least that's what they say

you were just another conscious man who found himself looking her way

she likes to show her hand it's not like yesterday when it was all maliciousness

tie up more letters, clean out the dark corners

burn 'em like witches, there's not enough of that these days

she'll destroy you without warning, but she'll wait till the morning

mother keep your son home

I know how hard you tried to be

true to me

and you know how hard it is for me

to believe

that you were caught by a cruel temptation

so callously

when you fell to your knees

at the sorcerer's feet

the girl has no reflection, at least that's what they say

such beauty would melt her eyes if she saw it every day

her hands have magic powers, her touch is satin gold

and she'll never get old, and her skin is never cold

and you the mere mortal, poor powerless man

once you caught this creature's eye, the rest was out of your hands

Have just put a recording of our halloween pumpkins singing on my profile - it's called pumpkinheads. Basically I told my 3 year old that I saw our carved pumkins in the garden singing this song when she was asleep. Oh, and obviously I recorded them as well. ;-)
