Well, several weeks ago, I left a job because the corporate way is no longer my way and found a better job with a smaller company. Better to the point that I taking days off that I have not accrued yet...and they're OK with it. So, now its the landlord who lost his mind and has been making my life much more interesting than I like. Stressing my wife out as well. We have had a few confrontations in the last couple of weeks. This after living here for 2 years. Well, we turned in our notice on the 14 for November 30th. We found a new place and signed on the 16th. We'll be out on Monday. Basically, we're breaking the lease. But the new landlord hooked up with a deal the will makeup for almost all the deposit we're not going to get back.
So what did WE get?
A double garage what hold 4 cars (2x2), utilities are included, basic cable, wireless DSL, and 1700 square feet of loft space in a neighborhood not known for lofts. We are losing the extra bathroom, but an equitable trade for this little duplex we're getting beat up over. I plan to send a note stating we found a new place and we're already gone just before next month rent is due. I'll post some picts of the new place, the new studio setup and my wife freaking out on how to arrange the space.
