i live 30 miles away in KC, oh
but alas, i'll be in iowa til sunday afternoon.
i would take you to free state for a beer.
my sister has VIP passes all weekend.
have fun.

ps stop by free state on the way in or out
best beer in the world IMHO

i'll be in lawrence in sunday, i just realized,
probably getting in around noon.
but i'm sure you'll be out at the lake all day.
it would be neat to meet somebody from the RPM.

We went ot see Emmy Lou Harris - got there and she had canceled due to sickness - this is the the way it goes at a festival

David Grisman - Kick ass as expect

The Yard Dogs - sword swallowing, magic, girls in thongs, more girls in thongs and pasties, great music, some unusual instruments - great entertainment

The Avert Brothers - a great find for us. Can you imagine punk folk? That's these guys. High energy, great chemistry - highly recommended. Danced myself a hole in the ground in the mud that was the floor after a rain delay

Keller Williams - laid back white boy raggae didn't get my feet moving much

Green Tea - unusual, good, liked them, got real noddlely during the solos other then that, pretty good

Leftover Salomn, - country blue grass, seen them before, good stuff just nothing new to keep me there too long
