Okay...so my marketable, show-the-world-your-first-cd, "Flaws," is preeeeetty much done. I've been adding things here and there, and have to stop doing that so I can just push the thing to completion.

It is SO hard to stop working on a track. And this isn't like, a dude who is any good at recording. So there are hundreds of things to fix (hence one of the reasons for calling it Flaws) but I think I'm being good, considering my first effort. Trying to deal with things not being perfect and moving on.

But the mastering process is beginning, and things are starting to sound WAY better. I don't know if you've heard of "Sound Goodizer" but it comes with Fruityloops 8 and is a multiband compressor that makes crappy recorders sound a lot better.

In any case, my cd is so much closer, the artwork is looking great, and I can't wait for all of you to hear the good and improved versions!

otherwise, you'll be tweeking forever. Fix the glaring mistakes and say the others were intentional.

its not a bad idea.

that date was originally february 29th!!

but this thing is new, so there, world!

and strummindude, i hope you dont mind the addition of synth bass and piano in "the looking back."

I usually have to set two. One for the challenge and one for the finish work. Mine is May 1. I'm behind and I've decided to drop a song that won't be ready on time. Last year, it was two weeks after to do all my tweeking, then I erased the original files. That was hard, but I didn't want to do what I normally do, which is spend 2 years working on it and never getting finished. May the tweeks be with my friend.
