Let's see..

I had a blackout on Tuesday night when I was trying to finish my album. The power went off at 9pm right in the middle of the mix, stayed off until midnight.

It came back on for a half hour, waited for me to start working again, and THEN shut down a second time until 5:00am.

Suffice to say, I DESPISE the electric company now. While they can't be blamed for the outage, it's absolutely incompetent when it takes them #!% eight ?!# hours to fix the power. That's pathetic.

After that, I went through four discs just trying to get the mix right. Adobe Audition messed up one of my tracks, so I had to keep re-recording it.

And work has been a real b!tch as well - I was hoping things would be quiet, and it's been a hectic mess.

DESPITE all this, I am happy with how the disc came out. I put it in the mail today, and everything more or less sounds right. (It has neat album art too.)

It clocks in at 47 minutes long. Seventeen tracks.

My goal for next year's challenge - find somebody else to sing. My vocals were pretty decent, but I want to play with somebody else's vocals for a change. (You start to get bored with your own voice.)

I also want a bass guitar.
