I wasn't expecting to do much today, since I did the night shift at work today, and will be doing the early morning shift tomorrow.

Although, I got some vocals recorded for a song called "Final Flight". The vocals are all I have right now, but they sound pretty good. (I need to record everything else, though.)

I was running into two issues, though. 

1) I find my voice tends to deteriorate a little bit when I use certain higher-octave singing styles. It took me a few tries to get some of the vocals sounding good.

2) For the very beginning of the song, I can't help but think I'm emulating another song that already exists, but I can't put my finger on what song it is. At first, I thought it might be "Woman In Chains" by Tears For Fears, but I listened to that, and it doesn't mimic it closely at all. I'll have to post it here once it's done, and see if anybody else can link it to some already existing track.
