it's been a while. i spent the weekend in bed, i barely remember recording those tracks. it's amazing how messed up that i was that i could even function, but most of them are in time, and aside from some long bits in the middle of the B idea which can be cut, they all sound pretty decent. my idea now, is to listen through one more day and then let them sit until next weekends drum marathon. i have most of the ideas for drums parts already, based on the loops i recorded the songs to. i have to wonder, if i had a band and a real drummer what the songs would sound like, i notice that when i write a song with a drummer, i feed off the beats, where as when i write a song, then pick a beat to go with it, it's a different experience, you know. well, i hope everyone's doing well on their challenge, i can't wait to start layering sound onto these puppies, it's gonna be fun fun fun. right now, i can barely walk, but that too shall pass.
