(I kind of exhausted the question in the title...)

Yep! though i might take a couple of people up on their offers of instrumental dexterity.

last year was just me, and the well got dry at times, and I had to dig a little deeper

What about you?

I had a guitarist collaborator last year - I sing (a little!) and have a very cool synth, but I'm no musician. This year, without my collaborator lending musical credibility to the mix, I'm just going to experiment with vocals and ambiotic sounds and...who knows? It might work!!!

I'm probably going to play/write everything this year for my project. However this site makes it so no one is alone.

One reason I got involved the first year was to find out if I could write/record all by myself. Previously I had worked really well, adding to, fleshing out Someone Elses Music, but never felt confident saying "This is the way it should go".So I have enjoyed being solo.

I too have friends help on 1 or two tracks, but only when I have taken the album as far on my own as I can. What I love about having their input at that point is the feeling of collabaroation without giving up my onw sound.

Had done quite a number of collaborative things in the past, but RPM 07 was pretty much MY album in terms of songwriting. I did get some great help from other instrumentalists who did some great work adding muscle to the bones, however.

This year, my main go-to guy from last year is way too busy to do much, if anything. Last year, he threw the door open and did everything I had time to ask of him.

So I guess we;ll see what happens this year.

I've always been a solo act, simply because I feel more accomplished when every single thing is my work. Creative freedom is nice.
 9 Pretty much..

I usually do it on my own.

The other AMUC member (Irving Finkelstein) is only good for coffee runs, reenacting the Civil War, and singing that Dreidel song backwards.

He can't even play the spoons - his timing is totally off. (And I don't really have the heart to tell him they're plastic sporks, and not truly spoons..)

This is my first try at this and I'm doing it by myself. I play bass guitar, six string guitar, and sing. I'm not sure if I'll come up with something good or not, but I'm just in it to improve my songwriting skill I guess.

Anyone have any suggestions about drums? Are there free drum loops or the like out on the internet?
