I have been trying all night to burn my songs onto a CD as a test for later when I have the final versions of my submission.  And I can't make it work.  I get all the right messages from the software, but when I try to play it on a CD player, I get nothing.  ARRRRGH!  I know the CD player will accept and play burned CD's because I've done this before.  But, of course, when you update the software, and don't do it for awhile, things change.  Oi!

I know I still have time, but I did everything right and it turns out wrong.  Sounds like the title of another song, doesn't it?  I'll try again tomorrow, but I have to cool off and get some shuteye and clear my cranium.

No worries, as the Aussies say.  This is how things go for me frequently.  My first one or two attempts are less than stellar, but eventually I get it right.  Kind of like my early dates with Martha.  She swore she would never go out with me again after our first date, but eventually she warmed up to me.  And we've had many good years together.

I'll update you tomorrow or Sunday, depending on when I make any progress.
