 Athens, GA is internationally renowned as a music town, a distinction Flagpole has always been particularly proud of. But for every rock band cranking out albums or playing live, there have got to be at least 10 laying dormant, wishing they could be more active. Between working the day time job and life's sundry responsibilities, it can be tough to find that time to just unwind and be creative. Well, consider recording to be your New Year's resolution, and let RPM be your vehicle for sticking to it.
No more excuses! Look around at our thriving music community, and you will find all the inspiration and resources you need to  write and record. Maybe you are already in a band but you've been meaning to work on some side project or solo material. Maybe it's been a few years since you dusted off that old guitar and rocked again. Maybe you are new to Athens and just need to get some tunes on tape to book your first show. Maybe you don't need a reason at all! Record because you can - because music is the lifeblood of this town, and we can never have enough. Get to it and make us proud!
