How Can I Help?
Volunteer
If you want to get more involved in helping with RPM, we are looking for people with skills and interests in the following areas to join a loose-knit but devoted team of volunteers:
1. Promotion (generating and sending out press releases, developing promotional material, downloads, listening party materials)
2. Forum Moderators, Topic Moderators
3. Content Generation (podcasting, question/answer posts, feature articles, possible mailing list content generators)
4. Web Design/Development (emphasis on technical ability here -- we're a Joomla-driven site, if you have some experience with this we could use your help polishing up the edges and implementing new features)
5. Products (helping to source and design RPM tees, stickers, postcards, possible gifts for donators, etc.)
If you are interested in any of these areas, contact Dustin (Mosfet) here. When you contact Dustin, be specific about your interests and skills -- it's always nice to hear that people are "willing to do anything" but it's rarely true, nor does it help us figure out what you'll be good at!

E-mail 25 Bands

Tell your friends! The word about RPM is being spread one person at a time, from band to band, musician to musician -- if every band sent out 25 e-mail invitations to other bands, that would be... a lot!

Click here to download a simple text e-mail message to forward to other bands or musicians you know, then copy and paste it into your e-mail program. It is formatted without hyperlinks, but feel free to add them if you like, or otherwise personalize the message.

Send Out 25 Press Releases

Help tell the press! We love the press, but man do they need a lot of reminding. This is your story, and it is amazing! Help us tell the world by downloading this press release and sending it to your local media, or any media that you have contact info for.

Click here to download a press release for sending on to newspapers, magazines, radio and TV near you, or anywhere!

Put Up 10 Posters

If you'd like to help get the word out, then why not print up a few of our sign-up posters and put them up in your community? If 200 bands put up just ten posters each, that would be 2000 posters, all around the world! Of course, you could always put up more...

Click Here to downoad the RPM '09 poster (11" x 17", pdf, 12MB)

11x17 Color ( PDF, 1.3MB )
11x17 Black/White ( PDF, 1.3MB )
8.5x11 Black/White ( PDF, >1MB )

Blog it!

Use your RPM blog to write about your plan, your progress, your inspiration and your ideas, but use your other blog to tell the world about RPM! If you have a MySpace blog or anything like that, take a moment to let your readers know what you're up to, and give them a link back to www.rpmchallenge.com. Generate some buzz!

Donate

You can donate to RPM as well!
