There is already a Sister Savage, I figured there might be but unfortunately this one masquerades as half of "Sister Savage and the Buggered Nuns", which, even as a non-Catholic, I find vaguely offensive. The only other useful anagram of my full name is "A Garage Visit". No.
Any suggestions?
Tess, in hope but rather glum.
Here's a song -

5 The mind reels Written by Endicott Road , on 10-13-2008 17:44 I find there is no sense, common or otherwise, to naming a band. I used the street where I live. It made sense to me. 8 Do you really need to change your name? Written by Colin Garvey , on 10-13-2008 21:18 I just googled "sister savage" and 7 of the top 10 results are you. No buggered nuns in sight. Even googling "sister savage and the buggered nuns" (with the quotation marks) this very blog - with 51 hits as I write this - is 3rd on the list. Of 7. That's how obscure this other "sister savage" is. As far as the internet is concerned, the name belongs to you. It's a great name; why let some pillock spoil it? ps. I didn't realise it was an anagram...

13 Colin Gavey Written by Sister Savage , on 10-14-2008 14:20 Pfft, no... But thank you. This is an old song that I meant to do something with for last year's RPM but never got round to it, and posting it marks my acceptance that I never will. :-/
14 Written by Volksmetall , on 10-14-2008 15:29 I'm changing band name next year. The name I plumped for was based upon the genre I was planning on writing. This year will be more enigmatic and suited to the tripe I write... I'll always license you to use GOMMB!
15 Volksmetall Written by Sister Savage , on 10-14-2008 16:29 Haha, no thanks, the Gods of Mount Mybich exist in their own right, and you know it. :-D
16 Written by Gumbo Stu , on 10-14-2008 18:38 I agree with Colin. You have tons of internet presence. The other (Charlie) is in the US, so the precedent is to distinguish you from the other (albeit the originator). I'm going for "(Saintess) Sister Savage" the parenthesis has the added advantage of floating you to the top of any alphabetical list. PS don't forget Sister Ellen!!
