| So it looks like things are still moving here...unfortuantly, mostly everything moving for me has nothing to do with music, mostly day jobs, other stupid stuff. But I've actually been able to cram in a little time to record some stuff. So here's a couple of things I've worked on recently, in case anybody wanted to take a listen.
Two of them are on my myspace page, the first two songs in the player ( www.myspace.com/andrewbrewer1 ). "Boneyard" is mostly acoustic guitar with electric backing in the chorus and a little electric part at the end. It seems like I could never really get the vocals right (vocals are definitely my weak point), so you might have to just filter those out. I've got too many other things to do right now than to spend forever trying to get that right. However, I'm digging what I did with the guitars, so hopefully that will balance out my voice or something..."Void" is some kind of metal/punk/industrial type of thing, used Hydrogen for the drums. I'm quite impressed with Hydrogen, especially since it was free. Don't know if it's too limited for people with a little bit more experience with drum programming, but messing around with it since February is the first time I've ever done anything with drum programming, so it worked well for me.
So I think this is going to complete the little five-song "album" I decided to do after February. If you want to hear the whole thing, it's on my virb page, under the album entitled "Boneyard." ( www.virb.com/andrewbrewer ). It was long over-budget (time-wise that is, this was only supposed to take a month and a half or so!!), but I just couldn't let it go until it was done. So, most likely, on to other stuff now (after sleeping for about a week straight).
And feedback is definitely accepted. Views: 790
