The RPM Challenge

so, while everyone else is scoring tape machines at garage sales and climbing the alonetone charts, the girl and I took the train to Boston and drove up to a B&B just north of the White Mountains. Some beautiful scenery you NHers got going on here!

We're not flying out until Sunday and we don't have any plans beyond tomorrow...what else to do? I want to go hiking in the mountains tomorrow, but beyond that...anything we should do? I guess visit Portsmouth, maybe? I want to get recharged to make some serious rock back in MN this fall!

I visited Portsmouth a couple of times several years ago, a nice town with some good restaurants (ever watched a Texan try to eat a whole lobster?-funny!). The only one I remember is Yoken's, but I hear it is no longer.

Went to Hampton Beach and enjoyed the boardwalk there.

Thanks for the tips, Kavin...but where did all the New Englanders here go? I guess they're too busy eating lobster rolls in the summer...

Anyway, I made it to Portsmouth for a day and walked aroung downtown and got a brown ale at the brewery and went to Bob's Clam Hut in Kittery and further north to Old Orchard Beach...pretty good time. And in Kennebunk, ME, I randomly ran into RPM participants Syndicate 19 at a bar playing Rock Band. Serendipitous, since I would have been kind of bummed to be out there and not meet ay RPMers. :)
