Just playing around with it for a few minutes, I'm already in love with this thing. I need to score some tape, but there are some opportunities for some interesting stereo recording here, and with the phono inputs, I can actually listen to records in my office now.

Maybe you can do real flanging or even get it to do space echo effects with a little modification.

I've wanted a reel to real to drop my digital recording to tape, then bring back. Get ride of that digital harshness and bring in that tape warmth. Just need to get some clean tape. I remember growing up with one in our hallway closet. Like everybody else, my dad traded it in his for cassette. The boxes of reel could make a real mess if they are ever dropped or mishandled. He had several. But did admit years later, that he thought the recording on the reels had better fidelty than records or cassettes. Score one for Josh!
