From an album in a month to a song in three..
(Thursday, 24 April 2008) Written by Alternate Modes of Underwater Conciousness

I'm back into OCD mode, trying to fine-tune an epic track.. Arrgghh.

"And The Damned Demanded" -- this is NOT going to be easy. It's the fourth or fifth time I've rewritten it. Each time it sounds a little better, but each time, I have a few less hairs on my head.

There's no evil in either approach. Some pieces we can reach easily. Some pieces have to teach us. Even if it's never a perfect song, the 'working it out' is important. Since nothing is ever finished, just don't stop enjoying the process. Most of us don't have the oppurtunity to take it on the road and hone it--that doesn't mean we can't continue to please ourselves.

Michaelangelo did the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. He also made quick sketches. Both are masterpieces.

Have fun.
