| Retarded Muppit Farm (also known as "RMF") began as a research and development team to discover a cure for Aztec helium poisoning, but ended up just being a really strange and strikingly original recording project. Founded by Adam Healton and Steve Elliott at the tail end of elementary school, RMF flourished throughout the late 90's and early 00's, the dynamic duo writing songs about mecha godzillas, taco dogs, farts, stomach pumping guttermouths and feeding babies to pigs. This long time collaboration rewarded the public with albums such as "Sex", "Hates Children", "Alabama Man", "Santa Claus is a Gay Bastard", and many more. Adam and Steve had a small yet most devoted cult following, stemming primarily from their junior high and high school peers. Somewhere between 2002 and 2003, the two decided to go their seperate ways, Steve focusing less on bizzarre humor and more on his solo recording project "SAE". The two reunited for several projects, most notably indie-freak rock group "Psychic Showdown", and the lesser known "Another Great Band", but it seemed that RMF would remain nothing more than a fond memory. However, in late 2006, Adam felt the urge to revive the 'Farm, and enlisted the help of longtime friend and frequent collaborator ( of RMF, The Ovaries, Psychic Showdown, Another Great Band) Matthew Conklin, and the pair set off to writing, improvising and recording brand new songs. In most recent news, the new Retarded Muppit Farm has recorded and released a brand new 9-song EP "Big Phonies", but more importantly a 17 song LP entitled "Special Fantasies II: Return To Paradise" is looming on the horizon! Friends and fans rejoyce! Elsewhere in the world, a cure for Aztec helium poisoning was never found, and has been cited as the #2 cause of death (40,000 a year, right below abortion) in the United States since the year 2001. |
