so i'm resigned to stop listening to this crap at work right now, i'm so sick to death of nitpicking, and now it's just crazy. i found some normalize function in I-Tunes and burned a CD using that, which of course knocked my levels way the hell down, just like normalize in garageband, so my resolve now is to NOT normalize. i like the way the tracks sound with just the mix-down compression on it and i'll get the levels close and deal with it. i'm also having issues with certain peak/digital distortion on certain vocal/guitar/and drum tracks, which i plan on doing NOTHING about, because it would entail re-recording said tracks and i've already re-recorded every vocal track at least twice. i realize this is not gonna sound like superslick million dollar CD from best buy, i'm doing this on a fucking computer in my basement for god sake. i sounds better than the old cassette tape 4 tracks, that's for sure, and the idea of the music is there, and you can hear the bits i want you to hear and i firmly believe the music is TOP fucking notch, i dont give a shit if another person on the planet hears a note.
man, i need some sleep. sleep, sleep, sleep.
at least i got the poop outta the way.
