| An' not a moment too soon. Turns out Delia Jo was the canary in the proverbial mine. 'Parently thar's a bug goin' around Function Junction, an' we's all got it now. We was all blowin' our noses last night as Clem recorded the final bass track and we put our album together. I wish I could say it was sentimentality, but it hain't - it's microbes, pure'n simple-like. If we'd had to sing beyond this here point, it wouldn'a been possible nohow. The last step, of course, is to send it off to RPM HQ...the local post office closes a might early so we more'n likely cain't do that thar today, but tomorrow ought to work out real nice...maybe take a detour on our way back from the Lent service while we's in town fer church. The weirdos what pray together, stay together...leastways that's what my mama allus tol' my papa when we was all gettin' ready to go an' worship as a family, an' I'll be gullderned if to this day we hain't all stuck together like molasses chews. Before I go off an' make embarrassin' noises with m'nose again, I'd like to thank all the Weirdos fer their hard work, an' also our guest artist Delia Jo, our producer, Anela of All Drums Welcome for consentin' to put her interview with me on the album, an' perhaps more'n anyone, our closest friends who done supported us when the path up the "Great High Mountain" become especially rough, steep, an' "weirdo."
