The RPM Challenge

Finally came up with a name for my cd. But now I am thinking that *nervous laugh* it's all a bit too tempting to pop a picture of a rubbish tip on the front cover...

Anyhoo! Have just 1 week left and I still need to write 2 or maybe 3 songs. I am going to do it though... I was working towards an album of 7 original (written in Feb) songs and 3 re-works of older songs but the closer I get to the finishing line, the more uncomfortable I am with this. Thought about dropping out but NO, I will recite my bad adolescent poetry over a disco beat if I have to! Such is my resolve!

PS - Is "trash can" one word or two?

"Trash Can" is definitely two words.

"Trashcan", on the other hand is one.

I've been thinking about this ... no, not the tea ... Trash Can Chic is one meaning. Trashcan Chic is another. Very cool. I love phonological ambiguity. Fond of it. And tea, yes.

So you could have "TrashCanChic" which blurs the meanings a bit and passes the puzzle on to the reader.

And a really glitzy image of a West End Trash Can in the early hours with a Fox in the neon.

I tried using google images for that but I think my search criteria need refiinng.

Blimey, do we need a title? I'd thought "songs for the motherland" at the beginning of the month before I started writing utter crap.

I'm going to have to cut some corners at the end as well as I'm losing yet another night tonight...

:-) Well, I intend to finish, but my cd is likely to be a bit bish bash bosh, and not in a nice sausage casserole sort of way.
