So, I've finished writing the 10th song. I've never written this much so quickly in all my life, and though some of the songs would probably not make it onto an album under normal circumstances, given the constraints I'm very, very happy with the results. I'd even go as far as to say that at least 2 of the songs are up there with my best ever work, which is even more pleasing.
Now it's time for final tracking and *gulp* vocals. I've got 8 days left so I'm proud to say that unless something goes horribly wrong (ie I lose my voice this weekend) then I will cross the finish line with something that is at least listenable (and hopefully enjoyable) as an album.
