I've been reacquanting myself with my accoustic guitar this month, and discovering just how it feels to reacquire the callouses on your fingertips.  It even hurts to type this blog.  Couple that with my job, which is a lot of data entry and keyboarding, and I'm going to be in pain for some time.  Well, they say that great beauty comes from great pain, so my music should be pretty good.  Or so I hope.

On a brighter note, I am three fourths the way along on finished tracks for the new CD.  I have twelve songs planned, and nine finished.  I should be done on time, and should be able to send it in without an issue.  Or so I hope.

It's Sunday afternoon, and all six members of my family are in the house, so I can't really do any recording until some of them leave or do something that won't be distrubed by my playing and singing.  That happens sometimes during weekends, but almost never during the week.  Next week is my wife's birthday, and my girls are planning to take her out on a "girl's night out", so perhaps I can finish things up then.  We'll see.

Do me a favor and visit my "details" page and let me know what you think of the songs I've posted.  I put three up, and I'm thinking of putting up a couple more.  I'd love to hear any feedback.
