It took me a couple of days but I've finally put my first song together I had the lyrics lying
around, so I tweaked them a bit then put some music to them. It took me about 4
hours to complete backing tracks on the PDA on Saturday, and today, it
was two hours on guitar parts and vocals.
So, for those of you who care, here's the finished product, Because this is a family-friendly place, we'll just call it "It's You And Me", and leave it at that.
And here are the lyrics. I was
in an Albert Camus mood when I put this together. I could be vague and say it's about alienation, but I'll leave that all up to you. Hope it doesn't bring
you down too much.
Also, beforewarned before clicking on the lyrics link: I tend to cuss in my lyrics, and I don't censor myself for anyone. If you don't think you can handle it, don't click on it.
When I'm done putting together all of the tunes, I may do another
mix of this thing on the PC, and resing some parts (I get a little
marble mouthed here and there on this track), as opposed to a strict
mastering. The H4 is a good digital 4 tracker, but it's not best at
mixing.
