First Song in the Can:Hippolyte!
Up at 3am, unable to sleep. Just normal insomnia I experience about once a week, nothing to do with the challenge. But it gave me an opportunity to get an early start and prepare for my daily recording quota. Came home early from work at lunchtime, and dove into Hippolyte while the house was still empty, laying down the pedal steel part in a couple of hours (a bunch of takes, cutting and overdubbing). But there it is! If time allows, will go back and correct a few minor baubles.

Emailed a recording of a chord progression to friend Mike down south and he replied with some lyrics and melody (I recorded him singing it over the phone!) on a forthcoming song titled "Fly to the Sun"!! Probably be the one I start on tomorrow. Yawn :()
