Hell froze over, and my employer actually called off work.
(It -never- happens, but there is a crapload of snow out there, and it's hitting right amidst the morning commute, and showing no signs of letting up.)
So, it's giving me a chance to contemplate what I want to do in February.
I have a couple of general goals in mind:
1) One song with death vocals.
2) One song created in the genre of "Idiotic Dance Music", as a spoof of "Intelligent Dance Music".
3) A couple wholly improvised tracks.
4) One song running 15-20 minutes. (All my songs were 2-3 minutes last year..)
5) Irving Finkelstein sings on one track. (This is a longshot. He only knows the dreidel song, and can only sing it well backwards.)
6) Really cool album artwork. (I'm getting my paint out!)
7) Music video for a track. (I think I'm going to finally break down and get Adobe Premiere Pro. Let's face it - without something visual, nobody really pays attention to us. Even a sucky video on Youtube is good exposure.)
8) Morse code utilized on one track for a makeshift rhythm.
9) Use of unintentional harmonic interaction between various devices, including shortwave radio and/or anything with a generator.
10) Make more lists of random stuff in my blogs.
11) I'm going back to bed now. After all, it's a snow day.
