I just went to the "participating artists" section, and found out that the RPM folks actually DID receive my CD. Deep breath. *sigh* I was so afraid that it had been lost in the mail. For those of you waiting for confirmation, let me make some suggestions: Maalox, a sedative, and/or do something to distract yourself from the anxiety. Believe me, it helps.
To those of you who have responded to my post about wanting to trade CD's, thank you. To those whom I have sent personal messages and have not yet responded, please respond. I have listened to a number of albums and songs from participants, and I must say I have found at least one song from each album that I like. And, as I said before, I am starting to find new favorites among all of you, and I've gained great respect for all of you.
One last question: to those who have made their songs available on MySpace, I've listened to some, and like what I've heard, but I can't download anything. Do I have to sign up for a space on MySpace before I can do that? Someone let me know.
Otherwise, thanks for all the great music, and I hope to hear more.
