that I agree with all the blog postings I've read this morning. Like many others, my CD isn't perfect, but I wouldn't have put it together if it weren't for this challenge. And the point of the challenge, I think, is to make music, regardless of how perfect it is not. I think many have reconnected with their love of music, and have had a good time putting together the songs, no matter how frantic the last few days have been. I've always tried to have pretty regular, normal hours of working, playing, and sleeping, and it sounds like many artists had their regular routines trashed while they tried to meet the challenge. Respect and sympathy to all of you who worked long hours. I know that, for each of you, it was a labor of love.
One thing that's happened to me is that I have realized how important it is to write something regularly. My muse sometimes takes a back seat to work, family, and other forms of entertainment, but I think I will try to do something creative, musically speaking, every day, whether it is writing lyrics, or putting together a new set of riffs, of matching an unfinished song to some words, or whatever. That will keep my inner muse working regularly, and who knows where that might lead?
I'm waiting for my name to appear on the "participating artists" list to verify that they've received my CD. I hope it gets there soon. IhopeIhopeIhope (fingers crossing).
Kindest regards to all.
