Since it has been snowing and raining ice since last night, I have the time to complete a real blog entry and not have to hide it from my boss.

I have a question:  if a song is created using samples, does it qualify for this challenge?  I ask because, for some time, I have been using a software program and samples to create most of my music.  Since I don't have the funds to afford instruments or recording equipment, using samples (loops) helps me to write music without draining my wallet.  The lyrics are mine, and the vocals are mine (including harmonies), and the instruments I use are real (not synthesized).
