By now, the whole planet knows of Michael Jackson's demise.  It was only during the news of this did I realize that I didn't own a single CD of his.  I have DVD video compilation, but no music.  As many, many channels were doing tributes to his music, I could sing every song word for word.  Why don't I own any?  Did the eccentric nature of the last few years push me away?  Maybe.  I still can't deny the talent.  No one can really.  That was never really the issue.  And it's not like he's the first celebrity to self destruct.  Granted, in this case, it was all so public.  But in the end, I remember that the age of 24, this young man said I'm going to the biggest name in the industry.  A couple of years later, he release Thriller with a slew of hits and ground breaking videos.  Not bad for a poor kid from Indiana.
