One Song Uploaded
(Thursday, 28 February 2008) Written by The Gay Bride of Frankenstein
I uploaded a rough mix of Angel of Hell from the show. I think this may be only one of few that I will put on this site. As I have said in previous blogs I am not looking for the best mix with the RPM Challenge CD. All I want to to get it laid down. I am working with a band to get the arrangements together and lay it down right in a month or so. I am very close to finishing and might be up all night tomorrow. Wish me luck!   Cheers, Billy

4 songs done today!!
(Wednesday, 27 February 2008) Written by The Gay Bride of Frankenstein
So, I laid down 4 tracks today. For about 8 hours!!! I had 3 singers for some of the characters with me filling in the gaps. It's not perfect. In fact it's quite amatuer but at least I am finally fleshing this thing out. Some of the songs sound pretty good though. 2 more days left and hopefully I will be handing my CD in on Saturday. On another note I pitched the show at an annual meeting at a local theatre in Portsmouth, NH. The Players' Ring supports local artists and produces local writers... (240 more chars)

No Music Recorded Yet!
(Thursday, 21 February 2008) Written by The Gay Bride of Frankenstein
But I am teaching the songs to the singers today and laying down all the music tracks next week. The script is pretty much done (we are now in revising mode) with only 1 song to finish writing, otherwise it's all done. I just hope to be able to get it all recorded before next Friday. Wish me luck.   Billy

Creating the Bride
(Wednesday, 13 February 2008) Written by The Gay Bride of Frankenstein
So, we have been plugging away since the first of February and we are pumping out material like a South Park episode (it takes them a week to write, draw, animate and voice each show.) Yet, we haven't laid down one track of audio. We have 7 songs finished and 3 or 4 more to come. I don't think the actual recording will be a finished product. I am going to try and use a full band for the opening song but every other tune will be just a guitar or piano or both with vocals using some singers and a... (378 more chars)
