| Last night I was depressed. I didn't feel like our RPM 2007 entry would live up to the standard we set for ourselves last year. Today, however, I have the mastered version of the disc (Thanks Chris Decato) and I am really digging this record. I think it may be better than last years. |

| Well everything is recorded and I am on to mixing. I really hate this part. It all sounds great in headphones and monitors but who knows when its on other systems. The good news is the cover is done and we have chosen a title. |

| I just realized there are only 9 days left. Damn that countdown for reminding me. Then again if it weren't for the countdown I wouldn't know how screwed I am. Shagbark has 13 songs recorded but we have to redo a bunch of vocals and then mix the sucker. Well after Mardi Gras has passed I will be able to focus on RPM. Tonight I will do rough mixes while working on my Mardi Gras costume for the big show at the Portsmouth VFW featuring my other band The Mighty Jumbo Circus Peanuts. If you are... (81 more chars) |

| Shagbark will begin recording Saturday. I hope the gear works. It hasn't been used since...hmmm last February. Some of our songs will need arrangement tweaks just before we record. I am not sure we a prepared to record yet buy after last year I really wanted to leave more than a week for the mixing and mastering. |

| Shagbark is a Portsmouth NH based rock band. The four piece unit is comprised of Mickey Blanchette-vocals, Chip Brindamour -bass, tuba and vocals, Spidy-guitar, and Gary Gemmiti-drums.
