Congratulations, Jim - and be happy! In many ways, what's great about the RPM Challenge is what it forces you to realize as a "struggling" musician:
1. You're not as alone in creating music as you thought you were
2. You're not nuts for trying (either that, or you've found a whole lot of other folks as nutty as you are - which can also be comforting)... and
3. There really are folks out there who just might want to hear what you have to say musically.
Most importantly, RPM bestows on you a sense of achievement over one hell of a task; and no matter what comes of the end product, you can always take away that one thing:
You beat your own limitations & made an album in 28 (or 29) days.
No small feat, that one.
Again, congrats - and don't rest on your laurels! Keep working - and make it a year round thing. (That way way you'll be ready for next year's RPM. )
