If you're posting your album as a zip file, could you please include a text file in the zip with some info about yourself. Put things such as your RPM name, band members, links to websites, contact info etc.
You've spent a month making an awesome album - make sure people know where to send their praise Also, you'll want to make sure that if your album gets distributed around the net for some reason, your name is still attached to it.
EDIT: Also I should add that if you should put ID3 tags on all your mp3s so that they can get sorted easily, and make sure you have your name in the filename - eg. Chris_Rutherford_-_Take_your_shot.mp3

i need to scan the album art at work on monday so i'm not taking my own advice, but that might be a helpful thing to include in your ZIP, too so iTunes et. al. can show it.
also, i'll trade physical CDs with anyone who wants one--just let me know.
(listening to the missed connections right now--short and sweet, like i like both my music and my downloaded ZIP files)

I also just realized that we can link off-site mp3s to our RPM profile mp3 player, so I've got all 13 of my tracks streaming here in my profile. Unfortunately, navigating the player here can be a chore when you have a lot of songs to scroll through.

It's only March 2 and I've got a lot of listening left, but Call To The Lower Consciousness is my early pick for the coveted RPM '08 award for "Best Song Featuring the Phrase 'Whimsical Multi-Colored Penises'".
Sorry to disappoint all the other nominees. This stuff is transcendent in more ways than I could ever comprehend.

All the songs that are prefaced with "Raw" are the RPM album songs. These are the unmastered versions, too, and not in the order in which they're on the album. I haven't had a chance to upload the final mixes in mp3 version. Might not get that done until Wednesday or so, when I have access to a broadband internet connection. That's also the day I'll be doing some listening! As much as I can cram in between the work I'll be doing, while there. The only non-RPM song on the player is "Desperado," which is an instrumental theme I did earlier this year to go along with my Western novel series of the same name. "Ballad of the Beam," from the RPM album, also goes with the novels.
Last year's are not on the player, yet, but they're on Virb. http://www.virb.com/kaistarr if anybody wants those.
