I didnt make the deadline, but I finished the album anyways.
I actually finished it on the 5th....I just had this probably totally unfounded fear that I would be ostracized if I still posted a download link.
I learned alot, but at the end I just couldnt pull it off. Spent way too much time on the music, by the time I got to the lyrics I had to rush them. By March 1st I had I pulled two all nighters in a row to try and make it work, ended up 1 song short.
There were tracks that could have stood as instrumentals but it would have been forced and not "complete" in my head.
All that aside, I did learn alot. I learned why i spend more than a month making an album.
The idea of electively placing constraints on yourself and forcing yourself to make fast creative decisions appealed to me. It was interesting to see what came out of it. There are some good things about it. after a couple listens. i actually like it.
i made some album art for it. its in the zip file. it's mixed okay, missing some low end but everything is clear. listen in headphones, youll prolly get better bass response.
