The Rubaboo music and arts ensemble of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, has completed mixing and mastering the song "Bolshevik Chicken (Is Coming To Town)," a track from our upcoming album Realistic Barnyard Friends. It is now available for your listening pleasure on our MySpace and RPM Challenge profiles.

"Bolshevik Chicken..." is a spritely romp of an entheogenic beet-sucking Slav socialist electro-folk ditty as interpreted by pseudo-Sufis.
The song is but one component of a conceptual audio experiment, a lo-fi, improvised living room opera, telling a mythical tale of the rise and fall of a fowl rebellion against the tyranny of the evil Farmer Brown. You will, of course, wish to hear the entire album so you can laugh, cry and die on its dramatic story arcs.
It is the first of six songs from the album to be released on MySpace. Keep your "peepers peeled" over the next five days for the daily release of a new album track(!!!)
And give us some feedback: it's the first song we're exhibiting to the world as a collective. We love what we do and we hope you love it, too.
