Super Happy Fail Party! - Lemonade Grenade! - 2008/02/09 05:25 So, I managed to wrap the album today. It turned out... interesting, but I think the coolest thing about it was how much fun I had making it. It was 8 days of banging on random things and playing random notes and just seeing what came out of it. I had a few of my close friends record audio samples of themselves saying certain words and then pieced them together into a lot of the songs on the album. I hope you enjoy listening to it!

I'll be sending it in to RPM at the end of the month and will try to start concentrating on my actual RPM album now.... which I haven't spent any time on yet...

Anyway, comments and criticism is appreciated and stuff and if you listen to it, I hope you enjoy the zaniness of it! Thanks!

Public Transportation is a friggin' instant classic - it reminds us a lot of King Missile - and we loved King Missile...

... and Hey Mr. Robot just made us grin really, really hard.

For 8 days of work, this is serious fun.

your guitar stuff actually sounds pretty decent. Not necessarily my type of stuff but I think my brother would love it. I'll send him a link.

Ah... well I can see why you wouldn't have liked it. The vocals are sort of "bad on purpose" vocals, and the whole project wasn't meant to be serious... I was actually just kind of meant to be the opposite from a deep and flawlessly crafted piece of art. I wasn't just trying to make bad music... just music that made people smile and laugh a little. I take myself a bit too seriously sometimes, so this was a way to escape from myself a little. I appreciate you listening to it, though, and I'm sorry you didn't like it that much... I hope you enjoy what I'm cooking up now, though!

I'm also a stickler for electronic music genres because I'm crazy. Ghettotech is like ghetto house except techno. Ghetto house is like DJ Funk. So, but yeah, I think this album transcends genre.

Sorry you thought I didn't like it - it's a totally charming album!
