Samples/Demos/Other Assorted Fun - 2007/02/04 09:29
Hello!
February is off to a roaring start -- songs keep appearing in blogs, in the demos in the Sample Engine, and on the discussion board already -- it's great!
We've been fiddling with the Sample Engine a bit, and we now have better preview support for .wav files, as well as an easier download interface. A bunch of music has been posted in the past few days, both demos for listening and samples for actually sharing with others to use -- check it out here:

and then give people feedback to people on their tracks in the discussion board.
We're also going to start picking some tracks to feature on the home page, but we'll be pulling from the demos in the Sample Engine so make sure you upload anything you'd like others to hear.
For those that didn't hear it, National Public Radio's program All Things Considered did a really nice piece on RPM the other day, which you can listen to here online if you like:

This might not mean much to those outside the U.S., but All Things Considered is a very, very broadly broadcast and well-respected show in the U.S., carried throughout the country, so if you had any doubt before, then know it now: people are watching and listening to what you do this month. You best finish this project, eh?
