Best Way To Mail CD? - 2008/02/29 09:50 What is the best way to mail in the CD? I'm looking for the best combination of safety (ensuring it gets there in one piece) and cost (the cheaper the better).

If it matters, I'm sending it from California.

Re:Best Way To Mail CD? - 2008/02/29 10:01 I'm mailing mine in a slimline case, inside a bubblewrap manila envelope. I took a prototype to the P.O. today for pre-stamping (so I can just throw it at the mailbox on Saturday), and it's costing a reasonable $1.47.

Re:Best Way To Mail CD? - 2008/02/29 13:38 I mailed mine in a paper sleeve, sandwiched between some cardboard. Didn't put it in a case, there is always the possibility the case could break in shipment and scratch the disk. Also included a printout of the sleeve and the album info sheet from the profile.

Re:Best Way To Mail CD? - 2008/03/01 11:11 Standard CD in a Jiffy Bag (bubble wrap lined envelope) sent airmail. I made sure I got a Certificate Of Posting in case US customs get overzealous (I've had stuff returned by or gone missing in customs before).
