Akai MPD 16 Windows Question - 2008/01/30 03:15
Hey guys, just decided to do this, and had an Akai MPD 16 sitting around that I bought used over the summer and never got around to playing with, and decided to try and hook it up. Running into some problems though. I hooked it up, manually installed the software and drivers (I'm running Windows XP). I can't get it to produce sound though. Was just wondering if anyone else had experienced anything similar. Thanks, happy RPM!

A little more info: I'm using Cool Edit Pro 2 to record (an oldie, but a goodie), and the program is recognizing that I'm hitting the correct buttons, but I'm getting neither sound nor anything recorded.
