Home page song sampler? - 2008/01/30 03:09 Last year during the Challenge, there was a nifty feature on the main RPM page, a sort of mini-jukebox of submissions as they came in. I liked it, as you could quickly check out what others were submitting to the Sample Engine.

I'd love to see something like that again. Not sure how songs qualified then or how they should now, maybe stuff that captures the imagination of the RPM Gods gets put up there for everyone's perusal?

I like the 2008 Song Sampler -- I'm hearing some really cool stuff -- but it doesn't tell the title and artist of the song it's playing. That info would bereally handy. Am I doing it wrong? Is that info just now showing up in my browser? Am I lookingin the wrong place?

If not, that should probably be added in the next revision ...

PS: I think what the commenter a couple of replies back was asking was how our music that we've uploaded gets loaded into the player. I assumed that it all goes into rotation automatically, but if that's wrong, could somebody give a REAL answer to the question?!

I just saw that the player loads on peoples profile pages but doesn't load on the home page (for me with "dn dn dahn" Safari)

I guess it is still a work in progress
