Provide chat for us 'Net Junkies. - 2007/03/07 19:00 Love RPM, love the blogs, love the forums, but sometimes I wish there was a live shout board, or a chat server built into RPM, where I could have taken breaks to wax poetical with my fellow RPM-ers in real time.

I know, chat is so 1990s, but still, just a suggestion for next year.

Re:Provide chat for us 'Net Junkies. - 2007/03/08 02:50 I was going to sugguest an irc chan. Don't take this as me talking down to fellows but I doubt anyone, if very few, would know what that is based on the amount of audio conversion/publishing questions present here.
Don't know how many ppl have broadband but a ventrilo server would be cool.

I'm kinda anti-social and nearly reclusive in my offline life, but put me on the internet and I chatter like nobody's business. Suddenly I get all social-like and want to be everybody's friend. So yay, from my perspective, that chat functions weren't here, this time!

A real-time-chat-type-thingy? Maybe if it was available until Jan 31st and then turned on again March 1st....but I had a hard enough time getting stuff done as it was....reading the blogs, and discussion boards as they were posted
