Can we do more than 10? - 2007/02/12 14:49 If I come up with more than 10 songs (12-15), can I inlcude them. Or do you just want the best (ha ha) ten?

Thanks,

Kevin

Re:Can we do more than 10? - 2007/02/12 15:03 same question really, I was thinking of this, I thought what I'd do was string a lot together to do a great big medley, like at the end of Abbey Road, so cheating, but not cheating maybe - would this be OK?

Re:Can we do more than 10? - 2007/02/12 19:40 I'd think you could do more than 10 if you wanted to. The rules just say 10 songs or 35 minutes of music, so I consider those the minimums. Me, I'll be lucky to finish 10 songs, so I envy those of you who can do more than ten!

Re:Can we do more than 10? - 2007/02/12 23:10 Several acts last year did more than 10. Guy Capecalatro III for example did 28 songs (there were probably others bands who did as well, sorry bad quick recall).
While I am not an organizer of the rpm challenge , I am pretty sure the 10 Song/35 Minute requirement is a minimum. If you are having a creative surplus, by all means submit it. That is what the challenge is for.

Maybe a trip over to the RPM 06 Jukebox would be helpful to answer some of these doubts. plus there is mucho good music there.

Now it's back to the recording sweatshop for me to try and scrape 10 decent songs together...
