Outside the US... (deadlines/jukebox etc) - 2007/01/18 08:46 welcome aboard!

we're thrilled you're here

- don't worry about 'hand delivering' your copy to us on march 1st -- wherever you are, it just needs to be postmarked by March 1!

- as for the jukebox, the current plan is to include all complete albums - just like last year. listening through all the songs is half the fun!

- get some more people from your area to join! the more the merrier. plus, having a common experience to chat about with your fellow local musicians is one of the most enjoyable parts of RPM.

feel free to post any similar questions here, and we'll get to them as soon as we can.

cheers,
Jon

Re:Outside the US... (deadlines/jukebox etc) - 2007/01/18 09:11 Even if an upload thingy can't be implemented, anyone overseas or out of range could put mp3s somewhere on the web, and I (or someone local) could burn 'em to disc and deliver it. I'd be happy to help out in this way if need be.

Re:Outside the US... (deadlines/jukebox etc) - 2007/01/20 18:48 That's a great offer! Hopefully it won't come to that, as participants need only get their CDs in the mail to us by March 1:

Cool offer. Hope you carry through with it, because I can't trust the postal service any more. Every time my family sends something, it never shows up at its destination.

Re:Outside the US... (deadlines/jukebox etc) - 2007/01/27 16:32 I can throw my Disc burner in the ring to help with musicians who can't hand-deliver the CD.

BTW http://www.dropload.com is a free file transfer website. And appears to be spam-free. I use them for transferring large files at work. All you need to do is create a free user account, enter your email, the email of the person you want to send the file to, and then <choose> the zipped or stuffed file you want to send. The recipient gets an email with a link.... soooooo... you can send big files without an ftp site.

If anyone would like me to help Burn and deliver their CD, email me at slanny24@mac.com
