A Final Insane Challenge... - 2008/03/01 01:57I am going to keep this short because time is wasting. I am going to attempt to make a 3rd and final album starting now. The Hairwolf & Roman Holiday albums have both been mailed and I still have the bug.
It will most likely be mostly casio with guitars and vocals. My wife will be joining me. I'm going to build a new profile real quick and I will post my progress as it comes along.
I will also be drinking quite heavily for that extra beer muscle push.
I will do hourly updates...
Right now I'm sober...
I extend this challenge to fellow veterans.
Let's see what Happens!

Re:A Final Insane Challenge... - 2008/03/01 03:44Okay... I just recorded 10 drumbeats from my casio and did some various fill-ins. I did each one at at least 2 minutes.
My wife and I wrote a few lyrics as we went. The best offerings so far are "Mean Lady Money", "Beating the World (With My Worldbeat)", "Blue White Winky" and "Bearded Consumation". The last two songs are actually names of flowers that my wife read out of a flower catalog.
Okay... Back to work!!!

LMAO...Yeah, I thought about that. However, in this case it would be different enough to avoid the lawsuit. Dr. Hecules is drunk, which should alter a great many things.
I wonder if Pinchcrotch will do their same submission this year? Then they can sue themselves. Wait! They could then record themselves filing suit and release that too. Oh.. the possibilities are endless...

Re:A Final Insane Challenge... - 2008/03/03 17:53I did indeed finish 11 songs. I think. I was so drunk by the time I was burning the CD (at 5AM), I'm surprised it came out at all. But it did! I listened to it in the car this morning and it's not half bad. My wife wrote alot of the lyrics for me and a bunch were improv or written within a few minutes.
My wife took the CD and mailed it at 10:30 AM on Saturday.
I would have made a posting over the weekend, but to be honest, I was really hungover ( ) and totally burnt out. Tonight I will load the songs into the media player for all to enjoy my last minute whirlwing of inspiration and much imperfection.

We did do called "Beer, Beautiful Beer (For Gary)". Oh, it's a gem.
Well, I'll load the stuff tonight and see what you all think!

Oh wow, that was totally f***ing awesome! I love that song, the delivery is perfect. I may have to cover it. I would ask for the chord progression but I don't want to ruin it.
