Figured out structure of album! - 2008/02/08 21:05 Not much to report except that I decided every other song (Tracks 2/4/6/8/10)
will be instrumental and the others will have vocals. Track 1 and 2 are finished, and tracks 3 and 5 are being worked on. I'm super excited to break away from the type of music I typically write, and the days it takes for one song to come together. I wrote two in one night!!!
Hope everyone is getting along fine.

Re:Figured out structure of album! - 2008/02/08 21:30 Got my structure figured out too.

It starts and the beginning and ends at the end.

I kind of think it's a novel idea.

Re:Figured out structure of album! - 2008/02/09 00:28 my structure, i mapped it out before i wrote a single note of music.

1 A 60bpm
2 Bb 70bpm
3 B 80bpm
4 c 90bpm
5 Db 100 bpm
6 d 110bpm
7 Eb 120bpm
8 E 110bpm
9 F 100bpm
10 Gb 90bpm
11 G 80bpm
12 Ab 70bpm

I really wanted to see if the key change and beat change was perceptible, though i can tell you of days listening to each song one right after the other, first for lyrics and then for structure that it's not as dramatic as i hoped, but maybe someone else listening can. It's turned out great, I'm done with structure and words and track drums this weekend.
