Seeking cellist...unless you’ve got a better idea - 2008/02/21 03:33
I’m working on a piece which was supposed to be for solo piano but which is turning out to be much more accompaniment-like, and I think it really needs to be a duet with cello. So, if anyone is or knows a cellist who’d be interested in a collaborating (rather quickly, at this point), let me know!
It’s called “Rebel, Patriot, Malefactor,” a dark and brooding pseudo-classical piece. You can hear a sample of some of the material (it’s very much not arranged yet) in the demo engine at our profile here: The Very Us Artists
Note:
I feel this piece really calls for a cello. However, if anyone’s got a better idea of what sort of instrument would help flesh out this piece—and knows of corresponding instrumentalist to play it!—I’d love to hear it.
