Re:smallish sounds. - 2008/02/03 16:11 Audacity's great. I have one of the cheapest sounding mics ever (SM58) and I use it for every instrument, and I've learned that all cheap-sounding recording can be fixed with reverb. I call it the My Morning Jacket theory.

Re:smallish sounds. - 2008/02/05 08:00 nice! someone once told me the mountain goats recorded 2 albums with a tape player. so i'm not too worried about it! i also kind of want it to sound a little rough.
