Ringtones - 2008/04/26 09:26 Anybody here have any experience with making your songs into ringtones? Is there a certain length that works better than others?

I made three of my songs into ringtones tonight, mainly just to have a unique tone that's different from the standard issue ... Plus, I plan to try to coerce my friends to use them too!

I've basically just picked out thirty second clips from each ones, and added fadeouts, but it would be nice if I actually knew what I was doing ...

Typically MP3 with one of the following

44.1/16 Mono at 64 bits
24/16 Stereo at 40 bits
24/16 Mono at 40 bits
16/16 Stero at 40 bits
16/16 Mono at 40 bits

30 seconds in length
