While we've got your attention - 2007/01/30 15:52 Hello All...

I hope you won't see this as spam, but when I got to thinking about over 1000 bands-songwriters gathering in one place, I couldn't help myself.

I do 3 Internet shows a week on Songplanet Radio at SongPlanet.com.

Thursday-Fridays and Sunday.

Bottom line is it's a great place for Indies to expose their music. YES the accounts are free (wihiin limits) and it's a great community.

Check it out, if you think it's for you I'd love to run into you there. I HAVE NO FINANCIAL STAKE IN THIS AT ALL! SO join, don't join.
Just something that will fit for many of you here.

Of course I also have pages at Soundclick, MySpace, Mixposure, Garageband, Isound and many others. Not to mention all of the vido sites I'm on for my upcoming video blitz.

If we did that we would then understand why all AnR men have developed the attitude that makes us label them as 'wankers'....

The Songplanet policy is to play SP artists. In other words those that have an account, free or not and then obviously to play the Best of those tunes.

Currently well over 4000 songs are already on the site. It makes for an interesting challenge to put together a show each tiime.

If any RPM's DO sign up and upload music make sure I'm aware, although I listen to EVERY NEW UPLOAD every week and choose what I like for my shows.

Hey, Michael, just a heads-up. That url needs its http://www. in the link, because clicking on it confuses the forum, which inserts http://www.rpmchallenge.com ahead of it. It did the same thing to one of my links in another thread.

I got to Songplanet anyway, through my own obsessive-compulsive means, and will most likely have an account as soon as I have something worthy of putting in it.

I have accounts at a zillion and three other sites, myself, in addition to a site that belongs entirely to me which I code, maintain and provide content for (see signature line). You just have to be efficient and a bit obsessive to keep them up!
