hey cousin.
yeah. I am at work and bored.
So... here's my ?. I am a huge fan of musics that straddle fences and morph genres( Like how Ugly Cassanova merged twang and electronic at times.) , especially without sounding contrived, because i'm not into the concepts of genres in theory.
Anyways I noticed there seem to be a few folk on here who have those kinds of pursuits including myself. So... i want to know what kinds of fusions do you think you would like to see? and additionally what would you call them if had to give it a name? the funny and serious are both accepted. for example, I would love to merge Xenakis(iannis) strings with blues drums pockets and then run run the whole thing through a delay pedal but in real life not samples. or... where do ragtime ,house and punk meet? Hmmm, indeed.
